Drenched in gold and caked in mud, Sideways created a modern motorcycle brand for Moxy Downtown Los Angeles — inspired by the seductive Yabu Pashelberg interiors, iconic Hollywood rebels, and the wanderlust of modern nomads. We developed the creative strategy and delivered the brand expression throughout: guest experience, room touch-points, food & beverage, and merchandise.

For an area synonymous with tourists, it was fitting for Moxy Times Square to have a brand that plays on iconic New York tourism — with an irreverent and tongue-in-cheek attitude and a full-scale tattoo parlor concept with famed celebrity tattoo artist JonBoy.
Sideways brought Moxy Times Square to market with a creative suite beginning with a scalable brand strategy that could stand out in the one of the world's most competitive hotel landscapes with its bold campaign, a heat-seeking marketing approach, high-impact out-of-home, and playful collateral perfectly in sync with the Moxy spirit and audience .
